2. Remove the label

If the essential oil bottle has a label on the outside, you can remove it manually. If there is any residual glue, rub it gently with your finger.

3. Prepare hot water

Prepare enough hot water in a bucket. This amount should be sufficient so that the bottle can be completely submerged.

4. Add dishwashing liquid

To create soapy water, add a few drops of dishwashing liquid to the bucket. Just a little bit of dishwashing liquid is enough. We just want to clean a tiny bottle.

5. Soak the bottle and cap for 30 minutes in the bucket

Soaking the bottle will remove the residue from the bottle and neutralize the odor.

6. Scrub it thoroughly

Scrub the essential oil bottle with a little bottle brush to get the maximum result. If you can’t find the right brush, you can use a baby bottle brush. Also, remember to clean the cap.

Castile liquid soap and rubbing alcohol are two great alternatives to clean essential oil bottles. Castile soap is a great soap to clean off the residue left behind by essential oils. Rubbing alcohol can sterilize the bottles and burn off any gunk that may be stuck to the inside of them

Prepare the following materials:

  • a bucket
  • hot water
  • Castile liquid soap
  • rubbing alcohol
  • a little bottle brush
  • a microfiber cloth

2. Pour hot water into the bucket
